Financial Information
One of the biggest concerns that parents have regarding Study Abroad is the cost. To help parents plan for their student's program, we recommend using the following resources:
- For general information about Study Abroad finances, please see the Cost of Study Abroad.
- Parents can find all of the most current budgets for our Study Abroad program on the Program Information page. For a detailed explanation of the budget, please see page 7of the Parent's Passport to Peace of Mind.
- The ISU Financial Aid Office can help parents determine how their student's financial aid can be applied to their study abroad program. All federal financial aid should apply, as well as some state aid. Parents can also talk to a Financial Aid Advisor about increasing their aid eligibility for the semester their student will be abroad.
