Students who are interested in studying abroad should first make an appointment with a Study Abroad Advisor. Our advisors can help you find a program to fit your academic, cultural, financial, and personal needs. Study Abroad does not delay students' graduation and is often even cheaper than studying at Illinois State.
Illinois State faculty members are an important partner in the study abroad process. Faculty who are interested in starting a new study abroad program are welcome to make an appointment with the Study Abroad Coordinator to begin the planning process.
Parents of study abroad students are welcome to contact our office at any time. We invite parents to read through the "Parent's Passport to Peace of Mind," a guide to study abroad for parents, which answers many common questions about studying abroad.
